AOTA is pleased to be an organizational partner with the World Parkinson Congress.
The Congress will be an international, interdisciplinary forum showcasing the most important developments in the world of Parkinson’s disease. Unprecedented in scale and in diversity of offerings, the Congress will present medical and scientific research, education and training, care initiatives, and will address “quality-of-life” issues. Presentations will be offered through an extensive thematically oriented program including plenary sessions, symposia, and workshops devoted to prevention, diagnosis, treatment of, and future research on Parkinson’s.
The goal of the Congress is to advance an all-encompassing approach to the treatment of Parkinson’s by bringing together the spectrum of those who serve the Parkinson’s community and those who live with the condition. These include representatives of professional medical and scientific organizations, the allied health industry, voluntary lay and patient services organizations, the pharmaceutical industry, and research and health services ministries of national governments.
