PQRI Program Launches
July 1, 2007 was the start date for provider voluntary reporting for the 2007 PQRI (Physicians' Quality Reporting Initiative) program.
This program provides a 1.5% lump sum payment bonus incentive payment to occupational therapists' that report on the Screening for Future Fall Risk measure performed as part of their service provision and submit their claims to a Part B carrier.

CMS has a PQRI Tool Kit that contains information about all 74 PQRI quality measures for 2007, plus supporting MedLearn Matters Articles, a coding handbook, and usable data collection worksheets for each measure.
