Annual Conference Charity
The Warrior Foundation is a San Diego-based nonprofit 501(c) 3 organization that assists, honors and supports military men and women who have bravely served and sacrificed for our country. They serve four groups of warriors: the seriously injured who come home from Iraq or Afghanistan with immediate needs; those who have suffered from exposure to IED blasts; those who have been undergoing physical therapy and/or occupational therapy for four years or longer; and warriors who have been medically retired and remain in the San Diego community. The Warrior Foundation focuses on helping injured military heroes who are assigned to Naval Medical Center San Diego, Camp Pendleton Naval Hospital, 32nd Street and 29 Palms, as well as those who are going through rehabilitation in the San Diego area.

The
Fisher House Foundation is a charitable organization that provides support in the recovery and well-being of injured military personnel and more specifically to their families by attending to their psychosocial and emotional needs. The families that come to the Balboa Medical Center Fisher House are facing a crisis of some sort and are usually overwhelmed and/or in shock. Families spend the majority of their time at the hospital waiting for their injured loved one to recover. Many family members drive all night to be with their injured son or daughter, or spouses, and are physically and emotionally exhausted. Please bring gift cards (Vons, American Express, CVS, VISA, etc.) to the AOTA Information & Hospitality Booth at the San Diego Convention
