CMS Proposes 2010 Payment and Policy Changes For Practitioner Services Paid Under Part B
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) just released a display copy of the proposed 2010 Medicare Physician Fee Schedule Payment Rule. AOTA is currently analyzing the rule for issues affecting occupational therapists, occupational therapy assistants, and students. Stay tuned to the AOTA Web site and other AOTA publications for more information regarding Medicare Part B payment and policy changes relevant to occupational therapy.
The Proposed Rule will be published in the Federal Register on Monday, July 13. The 60-day comment period will close on Monday, August 31.
