OT Faculty Member Makes U.S. Paralympics Team, Heads to Bejing
Kerri Morgan, MSOT, OTR/L, (bio) a faculty member in the occupational therapy program at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, and member of the American Occupational Therapy Association, has qualified for the 2008 U.S. Paralympics Track and Field Team.
Morgan and some 4,000 elite athletes with a physical disability from around the world are expected to compete in the 2008 Paralympic Games in Beijing, China, from September 6-17. The U.S. will send a team of 206 athletes who will compete in 18 sports, according to the U.S. Paralympics Web site.
