2008 Outpatient Therapy Utilization Report
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services through its contractor for the Short Term Alternatives for Therapy Services (STATS) project has released an Outpatient Therapy Utilization Report for CY 2008.
This report provides an updated analysis of the utilization of outpatient therapy services using claims data for services furnished during CY 2008. Outpatient therapy services include all services meeting Medicare requirements under an occupational therapy, physical therapy, or speech-language pathology plan of care.
