Make Your Voice Heard on Home Health!

AOTA, through the Home & Community Health Special Interest Section, is working with the National Association for Home Care & Hospice (NAHC) to create a national forum that will craft guidance for excellence in therapy practice for home health agencies. The precise outcomes of the project are still under discussion.

The National Excellence in Therapy Project is in the process of recruiting a therapy leader from each state to participate in the effort. It is critical that occupational therapy practitioners in the home care community apply to participate in this effort. The national forum will meet in Chicago September 21 and 22 for critical discussions that will impact occupational therapy practice. AOTA staff and HCHSIS representatives will be in attendance but practitioners representing home health agencies must be there to voice support for appropriate occupational therapy practice. Be an advocate for the practice area and profession you love! Applications are due August 20. Download an application here.
