Participate in World OT Day!
Created by the World Federation of Occupational Therapists (WFOT), World OT Day is held every year on October 27 to promote to visibility of the profession and to promote the activities of WFOT internationally.
OT4OT, a group of six occupational therapists from New Zealand, Canada, the United Kingdom, and the United States, will again host a 24-hour virtual exchange in celebration of World OT Day. The 24-hour virtual exchange kicks off at 2pm EST on October 26 and concludes at 2:00 EST on October 27.
The University of Salford, in Bolton, England, will host the virtual exchange, which includes presentations on life balance, resilience, and occupational therapy; international fieldwork; occupational therapy services in two earthquake zones, and much more.
