Work and Industry

As part of AOTA's Centennial Vision, we have identified Work and Industry as a key practice area in the 21st century. Human beings have worked in one way or another since the beginning of time. Work is integral to participation in society, and provides many returns to the worker including economic rewards, meaning, and fulfillment. An adverse work situation can also negatively affect quality of life and well-being.

We hope the resources below will help you in your practice. If you have additional questions, try posting them on OTConnections, a community for occupational therapy practitioners just like you. If you are an AOTA member, you are already signed up with OTConnections! Just use your member login and password for the AOTA Web site to access OTConnections.
