Meet Occupational Therapy’s Emerging Leaders: Class of 2010
By Stephanie Yamkovenko
For the profession to achieve its Centennial Vision goals, it is essential to develop a core group of new practitioners willing and able to fill leadership positions. The Emerging Leaders Program is finishing up its first year and its participants—students and new practitioners—say they have gained confidence, connectedness, and passion throughout the year-long program. AOTA interviewed the participants about their experience, their growth as leaders, and how they have learned to live life to its fullest.
