Ridding The World of Mental Health OT Ignorance: A Review of Using Mentorship for OT Program Development Where OT has not Existed Before

This session will review an OT model for establishing OT services in a mental health facility that offered minimal OT. Outcomes include OT becoming a valued part of the treatment team, as well as increased OT staffing, yet acknowledges the challenges to maintain culture change.
