The Basic, yet comprehensive, option provides you with digital-only access to OT Practice and member pricing on many of our resources. The Plus+ membership offers the best value with unlimited access to many of our CE courses. If you know for sure that you'll be attending the AOTA INSPIRE Annual Conference & Expo in a given year, then the Premium package is for you! Learn more about AOTA's membership options.
Yes, each option offers a monthly rate. You will have the option to select a monthly or annual rate when renewing.
Starting January 20, 2022, AOTA will provide you with access to Plus+ benefits through your current membership term--at no additional charge. Your renewal date will remain the same and you'll have the option to renew as a Plus+ member or select from the other membership options.

AOTA offers a membership option for retired persons who are age 65 or older, no longer employed, and have a current AOTA membership. The membership provides all the benefits of the Basic membership package and includes the print edition of OT Practice Magazine. Simply complete this online form or contact AOTA at members@aota.org for assistance.
No, rather than a standard membership for all practitioners, you can now choose the best membership option for you.
Annual Conference registrations included with the Premium Membership will be automatically applied to the next available annual conference from the time of purchase. Registrations may not be postponed or transferred to another conference. Exceptions include serious illness or injury to either you or an immediate family member, death in the immediate family, court appearance or jury duty, or unexpected military duty.
Cancellation of the Premium Membership membership will terminate ALL benefits, including the conference registration. AOTA reserves the right to deny cancellations submitted within 14 days of the conference start date.

AOTA dues may be tax deductible as a business expense. 40% of the membership cost is allocated to lobbying efforts and is not tax deductible. 2% of the membership cost is automatically contributed to the American Occupational Therapy Foundation, Inc. (AOTF).
Contributions made to The Fund to Promote Awareness of Occupational Therapy and AOTF are tax deductible.
Contributions made to AOTPAC are not tax deductible as it is a Political Action Committee.
