Powered mobility interventions for children

Occupational therapy practitioners work with children who have significant motor disabilities, in order to improve their participation in daily routines and activities. Contextual barriers may limit opportunities for engagement. Powered mobility devices provide opportunities for exploration and learning and can improve participation in everyday occupations for children with significant motor disabilities.
