AOTA Student Membership Circle

Active student memberships reinforce the need and value of tomorrow's occupational therapy profession. In addition to engaging with student members individually, AOTA recognizes academic institutions with the highest rates of active AOTA student memberships through the Student Membership Circle program. Academic institutions are recognized at the gold, silver, and bronze levels.

The future of the occupational therapy profession lies with the students in your class today. It is important that each student understands the value and importance of being an AOTA member as they prepare for their career and, with AOTA, ensure their professional success.

Applications are closed for the 2023–2024 academic year, and will open for the 2024–2025 cycle in August 2024.

  1. Programs can be at any stage in the accreditation process, so long as you have active AOTA memberships. 
  2. Only SOTA Advisors or Program Directors can apply on behalf of their programs. Additional contacts can be included on the application for communication purposes.
  3. Application and participation deadlines are final.
  4. All programs must re-apply each year to remain active participants of the Student Membership Circle.
