The Academic Leadership Councils (ALC) provide a forum at the national level to present, examine, and debate educational issues such as but not limited to practitioner education, faculty recruitment and retention, student admission procedures, reaccreditation policies, extramural funding, budgeting and administrator workloads, research, and continuing education.

Members: Academic Fieldwork Coordinators of academic programs for the occupational therapist and occupational therapy assistant.
Doctoral Capstone Coordinators
Members: Doctoral Capstone Coordinators of doctoral level academic programs for the occupational therapist.
