The occupational therapy licensure compact

In 2019, representatives from the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA), the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT), and the Council of State Governments (CSG) announced that they would collaborate to support developing an interstate licensure compact for occupational therapy. Similar to a driver’s license, this compact will allow practitioners to practice in multiple states without having to secure a new license in each state.
