AOTA INSPIRE 2024 Pin Design Competition

The annual AOTA Conference pin has been a collectible item among members since 1978. Submit your design to our AOTA student judges and you could be chosen as the artist behind the 2024 pin!

Guidelines

Is art or design one of your favorite occupations? Conference pins have been a collectible token dating back to 1978. We’re opening up the AOTA INSPIRE | 2024 Annual Conference & Expo pin design process to members with a competition judged by AOTA student members.

Submissions will be judged on adherence to the submission guidelines and design specifications, creative interpretation, and celebration of Conference. Our favorite designs will be shared on social media, and the winner will receive a $250 gift card from AOTA – and bragging rights at INSPIRE 2024!

All submissions must be original designs created by the member.

Printed pins will be approximately 1" in size. Keep it simple!

Designs must include the conference year (2024).

Designs are limited to six or fewer colors and must use the AOTA color palette, white, gray, or black.

Include a short description of the design for accessibility that outlines how the elements highlight the conference.

Files must be shared both in an editable format and an easily viewable format. So, please submit either an editable Canva link, or a vector image (.esp or .ai) with a separate a .jpeg or .png.

The winner understands that the final design becomes the property of AOTA and may be enhanced by an artist.

Volunteer Opportunity

We're looking for OT and OTA students to help select the winners. No design experience is required to be a judge, but judges cannot also submit designs to the competition.

Students interested in serving as judges can apply through the Volunteer Center in CommunOT by July 14.

2023 INSPIRE Pin

The 2023 Annual Conference & Expo pin featured a heart, a nod to the many sculptures around the conference location in Kansas City, MO. The design said "AOTA 2023" inside the heart, and featured AOTA colors purple, yellow, orange, and teal.
