State Legislative Update: September 2021

AOTA works with state occupational therapy association leaders daily to identify, evaluate, and monitor proposals that could affect the profession. During the 2021 legislative sessions, state occupational therapy associations worked to enact or defeat legislation regarding multiple issues, including revising occupational therapy practice acts and expanding access to occupational therapy services. State legislatures focused on policy changes as a result of COVID-19.
