2023 Medicare physician fee schedule final rule and OT

On November 1, 2022, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) released the CY 2023 Medicare Physician Fee Schedule (CY2023 MPFS) final rule, effective January 1, 2023. Within the 3,304 page document were some wins, losses, and insights into CMS’ plans for future rulemaking. The final rule includes key issues that will impact occupational therapy practitioners (OTPs) in the coming year and beyond.
