Bill Undermining ADA Protections Passes the House

On Thursday, February 15th, the House passed HR 620, the Americans with Disabilities Act Education and Reform Act. HR 620 would change Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) by removing certain protections that allow people with disabilities to access public accommodations. AOTA strongly opposes this bill. We will continue to advocate against this bill and for the protection of the civil rights that the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) provides
