Next Steps for OASIS: Initiating and Completing the Comprehensive Assessment for Home Health

First and foremost, this is a time to celebrate. The Medicare Home Health Flexibility Act (Act) was first introduced in the 110th Congress and finally passed during the 116th Congress as part of the year-end Omnibus and COVID-19 relief legislation. The Act gives home health agencies (HHA) flexibility in opening cases on a timely basis and in matching the appropriate discipline to assess the patient's needs.
