AOTA works with state occupational therapy association leaders daily to identify, evaluate, and monitor proposals that could affect the profession. During the 2024 state legislative sessions, state occupational therapy associations worked on a multitude of legislative issues, including the OT licensure compact, scope of practice, and payment legislation.
