Increasing the implementation of standardized assessments through audit and feedback: A rapid quality improvement project

Himes, R. M., Pease, M., & Juckett, L. A. (2022). Increasing the implementation of standardized assessments through audit and feedback: A rapid quality improvement project. SIS Quarterly Practice Connections, 7(1), 27–29.

Occupational therapy practitioners, despite their clinical training and favorable perceptions on the importance of measuring client outcomes, face substantial challenges implementing evidence-based standardized assessments in clinical practice (Briggs et al., 2020). Such challenges may include the complexity of administering particular assessments, a lack of managerial support for routine assessment use, and practitioners’ unfavorable views toward particular assessments and their confidence in assessment implementation (Juckett et al., 2020).
