Sleep interventions for children 0-18 years old
During the evaluation process and in conjunction with completing an occupational profile, occupational therapy practitioners at Nationwide Children’s Hospital (NCH) are prompted to inquire about a child’s or adolescent’s rest and sleep. While this often elicits a discussion about sleep and how it affects participation in all areas of occupation, there are challenges and limitations with effectively addressing sleep in an outpatient setting.
