State legislative update: OT compact, practice act, payment, and scholarships

The American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) works with state occupational therapy association leaders daily to identify, evaluate, and monitor proposals that could affect the profession. During the 2023 state legislative sessions, state occupational therapy associations worked on a multitude of legislative issues, including the OT licensure compact, scope of practice, and payment legislation.
