2023 congressional advocacy-A year in review

Throughout 2023, the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) Federal Affairs team worked to expand access to occupational therapy (OT) services, by advocating for the removal of barriers to providing these services, by seeking to increase reimbursement for OT services, and by educating decision makers about the full scope of the services. This advocacy covered a broad range of issues, leading to the introduction of multiple bills and building new champions for occupational therapy.
