In the Classroom

From the classroom to the classroom-Full circle career development

Research has shown that developing and maintaining professional relationships plays an important role in increasing morale, building job satisfaction, increasing work engagement, and providing networking opportunities. Several studies address how positive professional relationships and mentoring can affect behavior, attitude, motivation, job performance, organizational commitment, and career productivity, and may open doors to new opportunities (Doyle et al., 2019). However, what we believe is missing is how long these professional relationships may continue to have an impact and how that may shape future career choices.
