Teaching Mindfulness to Reduce Student Stress and Improve Client Outcomes

Learning something difficult that must be implemented in the moment brings me stress. I find this new stress keeps me from thinking clearly and therefore impairs my ability to carry out the new learning. After studying a shortened version of mindfulness practice, I discovered how to clear my mind of thinking about my stress and resulting anxiety. Instead, I focused only on the new information I was learning. With focus, my stress subsided and I was able to implement the new information
