The GOALS2 program: Supporting college students’ success

As they begin college or university, students embark on a journey fraught with new experiences and increased demands (Pinder-Amaker, 2014). For many, college will be the first time they live away from their childhood homes and navigate education with decreased structure (Kornblau & Robertson, 2021). This requires college students to make more independent life choices across occupational domains, such as managing their ADLs, meeting educational requirements, and navigating social participation demands all while engaging in their own health management (Keptner, 2023; Parker et al., 2006; Wang & Bíró, 2021).
